The Greene County Chamber is changing its name to Greene County Chamber & Tourism as part of an ongoing “Reinvent Yourself” campaign.
“The Greene County Chamber & Tourism board has recognized the opportunity to be the leader of tourism to Greene County and has changed its name to reflect an additional competency to our community services” said Chamber & Tourism board president Ora Stevens.
In addition, the board voted to assign Michael Reese of Atlas Media Group as the event and tourism director as part of the “Reinvent Yourself” campaign. As part of his role, Reese and Atlas Media Group will be responsible for rebranding, developing new marketing collateral, and promoting the county to attract new tourism.
“I am very excited to work with the Chamber and community to help brand a message that will resonate and lead to new tourism in Greene County,” Reese said.
